One of the best bands ever. Floor is heavier than a spirit bomb and even more epic.
"Formed in Miami, FL 1992, released tons of ep's and Broke up in 1996. Reformed and broke up in 1997 ( for 1 show ), Reformed 2001, released s/t LP (No Idea Records), split 7" w/DOVE ( Crucial Blast Records ),and unreleased LP titled "Dove" ( No Idea Records ) from 1994, broke up 2004. FLOOR no more!"
Some of the members of Floor went on to form Torche (who also rule) and a few other bands.
I've compiled as many of their 7inches, splits, and songs from comps as i could into this file, which contains the following:
[1994] - Chelsea - Pigs (split 7inch with Spazz)
[1994] - Heather - When the Pibs Broke Free (7inch)
[1994] - Loanin' - Figbender (7inch)
[1994] - Madonna (7inch)
[1994] - Untitled (split 7inch with Sloth)
[1994] - Your Mother Is A Whore (split 7inch with Tired From Now On)
[1995] - Goddard - Slugthrower (7inch)
[1996] - Entomological Discoveries With Sound and Vibration (split 7inch with Ed Matus' Struggle)
[2001] - Bombs to Abaddon (split 7inch with Dove)
Iommi (Loud and Ugly Vol. 2 (comp)
Dead Wrong - (The Good, The Bad And The Ugly comp)
and an early recording of "Who Are You"
My favorite Floor album is their 2002 self-titled release
i think the best songs are "Night Full of Kicks" and "Sneech" but the whole album is amazing.
Their last release, Dove, is also really good. This file includes the extra insturmental song "I remember nothing."
