Folly

I love this band and I don't give a fuck what anyone says about it.

Folly is a band from New Jersey that blends Punk, Ska, and Hardcore. They formed in 1997 and broke up earlier this year.

The Early Years (Demo & For My Friends EP)

Folly's first Demo and EP sound pretty different from their later stuff, but I dig them A-LOT. The Demo has a more traditional ska-punk fused sound that's fused with hardcore via breakdowns and gang vocals.

Insanity Later

This is my favorite Folly album. It just has a really good groove and style to it. The heavy parts are fucking killer and the ska parts are "pick it up, pick it up" worthy.
My favorite songs are "Discussion is for the pigs" and "Pterodactyls in America"

Resist Convenience

This album is also very good and is much more hardcore than ska.

their posthumous release "These Are the Names of Places We Broke Down In" is pretty decent as well.

Enjoy, and remember the days where you could two-step, skank, and throw a windmill in the same song.
